HOW WE GOT OUR INDEPENDANCE.
February 04th   is our independent day we celebrated 06th Independent day Last week. In ancient time many foreigners ruled our country ruder their laws .English people, Dutch people tiled our country .
                    Our last king was Sri Wickrama Rajasirgha. At that time .Our brave Thero Sri Sumangala put down the English flag and raised the Sri.Lankan flag. Sri.Lankans fought against those foreigners. Several times,. English people destroyed our country and our religion. They hurt the people and got money for their vehicles, houses and lands, Then the Srilankans got together and fought agairst the English people. Mr. F.R Senanayaka  Sir D.B Senanayaka
C.A Hewaavitharana Mahinda Thero, Walisingaha Harishchandra,
S.W.R.D.Bandaranayaka Munidasa Kumarathunga Ponnambalam Ramaradan, Piydasa Sirisean are some of hero’s that worked for the Freedom of Sri Lanka. They tried and tried to get it .At last on February 04th of 1948 we got the freedom from English people.
Now we are the people that can live freely in Sri Lanka.
